Report infringement.
If you believe material on Thurzy infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send our designated agent a written notice that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or that of a person authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed. If one notice covers several works, a representative list.
- Identification of the material you say is infringing and want removed, with enough detail for us to find it. The address (URL) of the page on Thurzy is best.
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
When we receive a notice that includes these elements, we remove or disable access to the material and tell the person who posted it. A notice that is missing an element may not be effective, and we may ask you to complete it. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Counter-notice.
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send our designated agent a written counter-notice that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person's agent.
We send a copy of a complete counter-notice to the person who filed the original notice. Unless that person tells us they have filed a court action to restrain the activity, we restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice. Knowingly misrepresenting that material was removed by mistake can also make you liable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
Repeat infringers.
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others. Uploading content you do not have the right to share is also a violation of our Terms of Service.
